My Dear Husband (Late) I still find it difficult to believe that you are dead and gone forever. Dear, your death is sudden and shocking to me. I love you but God loves you more. You lived a peaceful and a truthful life. You were an intelligent man, an adviser, a judge, a decent man in all sense. Those who were close to you can testify to this. You shared in the Joy and sorrows of many. Your leadership in the family was exemplary. The Lord knows why he has taken you away at this time particular time. I can’t question Him, goodbye, may your soul rest in perfect peace, Amen.

Your Wife
Nkoyo Okon

Daddy, you had prepared me for this difficult task few months ago, but I never knew it could come so soon. The moment I looked at your pictures, I cry and remember the saying “a picture says a thousand words have new meaning and I can still hear you”. Because you never say that, you will soon join your ancestors and now you departed without a word to me. Though death is for everybody on earth but your own was so sudden, it is so difficult to believe that,
Daddy you left us now. You have filled my heart with sorrow but I can’t ask God why because I know that to everything there is a season, a time to born and a time to die….. (Eccl. 3 : 1 – 8). I tried all i could to make sure you recovered from from the illness, spiritually, prayerfully, physically, psychologically and otherwise.
May Almighty God fill the vacuum you have left.
Farewell Dad, rest in the bosom of God Almighty till we meet again and depart no more.

Engr. Edet, Ita Okon

For none of us live to himself, and no one die unto himself, For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord, therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. For this end Christ died and rose and live again, that He might be Lord of both the death and the living (Romans 14 : 7 – 9). You were loving and caring to all who had a chance to be with you. Daddy, when we left, you were still very strong, we never knew that it will be the last time we saw or hear you among the living. Since it is not measured by the Years that we lived but by the deads that trail us,. Your death has left a very big vacuum in our heart which can never be filled. We wish you lived longer, because we had lots of plans for you, but the time has come to let go. We have come to term with the fact that, you are gone forever. You were so blessed that you died peacefully at 59 years.
May your gentle soul rest in peace.

Your Daughters
Udeme, Blessing, Grace, Arit and Eno Okon

When death struck, no one can withhold it, no wonder people say “Although one dies in his full strength being wholly at ease and quiet, you come forth like a flower and wither away.
You were a source of peace to your family and others that came your way. Grandpa, you are our hero, your spirit will always live in our hearts. Your humble beginnings and the outstanding success you made out of life is a tremendous inspiration to those of us that are still here. We have so much to gain from hearing about the story of your life.
Definitely, we have lost a Precious grandfather, a mentor, a philanthropist and a provider.
Good bye Papa, we shall meet to depart no more, may your soul rest in the bosom of Abraham, Amen

Grand sons
Samuel, David, Paul Emmanuel, Mfoniso Ita and Destiny Isaac.

A great star is gone, why should death visit good people? Should death raise it ugly head to take away a man of discipline, a virtuous brother like you? It comes like a thief, stealing our heart away. You were a peace maker, a philanthropist, an adviser, a master planner.
Brother, we miss your advise and your loyalty. We search for you in the morning, noon and evening.
We couldn’t see you any longer, where are you?
Brother, who have you handed us to? Oh our canopy is no more, our defender is gone, oh brother you left when we needed you most, now we take consolation that one day we shall depart from this sinful world to meet our creator.
Goodbye Brother !!!

Ime, Umoh, Ebreso, Asuquo and Emem

Nna as we fondly called ourselves, when we came to this world as was ordained by the Almighty God. We towered through travails of life as singles and only sons of two sisters. We were often been identified as “Akpan ye Udo”. As we grew up we became too bonded by the glue and cord of one love that appeared to have no bounds. As your aunt/my mother passed on, my aunty / your mother filled the vacuum. We shared almost everything in life. Even in my absence you were there to see to the welfare of my family. Hardly a day passed by, we don’t hear from each other. Our project could not be completed to give us a boast of relaxation yet the monster struck all of a sudden, denying us of all the hopes and aspirations, destroyed the glue and cord that held us together and set Nna vary far apart from me. So Nna, the monster called death decided to snatch you from me, leaving me wonder alone without a brother permanently. Hard to believe myself, it is like a dream. Too difficult to forget that day 25th July, 2015. The day, the “Monster came without a warning, snatching Nna away from me “., not allowing Nna to reap the fruit of his labour. Streaming of tears may not depart from my eyes. Recall, you were a perfect mixer, open arm and gentle. These virtues are gone with you. “Hard to say adieu, Nna. Your gentle soul find perfect

Rest. Your Cousin / Brother
